Finland – Helicopter simulator training centre operator Coptersafety has appointed Lais Glaser as Sales Manager in October 2026, bringing her back to the Finland-based organisation to support customer relationships and commercial development. The appointment comes as Coptersafety prepares to introduce additional Level D Full Flight Simulators (FFS) and expand its training centre network into Norway.

  • Coptersafety is expanding its Helsinki training facility to accommodate three additional Level D Full Flight Simulators ordered in 2025, with the new devices expected to become available during 2027 and 2028, subject to regulatory approvals and delivery schedules.
  • Glaser returns to Coptersafety following a year focused on business-to-business sales and client outreach. Her new responsibilities will include developing customer relationships and supporting the company's commercial growth as additional helicopter training capacity becomes available.
  • The company has also announced plans to establish a new simulator training centre near Oslo Gardermoen Airport in Norway, scheduled to open in 2028. The facility will provide additional training capacity for helicopter operators conducting emergency medical services, search and rescue, offshore and other operations.
  • AFM previously reported that investment firm MML Keystone acquired a majority stake in Coptersafety in January 2026, supporting plans to expand the company's existing simulator capacity and establish additional international training locations.
  • Coptersafety currently operates five Level D Full Flight Simulators at its Helsinki-area facility, comprising two Leonardo AW139 devices and one each for the Leonardo AW169, Airbus H145 and Airbus H125. The three additional Helsinki simulators comprise a third AW139 from TRU Simulation and Training, an Airbus H145 D3 and an Airbus H175 from Reiser Simulation and Training. The planned Oslo facility will initially introduce an H135/H145 Level D FFS.
