Flight Schedule Pro Developer Pilotbase Expands Into Full Pilot Lifecycle Platform as Interest From Nearly 100 Flight Schools Grows

March 15, 2026

In this week’s AFM Pilot Training Leadership Interview Series we speak with Bryan Landaburu, Chief Revenue Officer at Pilotbase. Pilotbase is a company behind Flight Schedule Pro and LogTen, introducing the world’s first Pilot Experience Platform. The conversation covers:

  • What Pilotbase is and how it supports flight training organizations: Pilotbase is introduced as the first Pilot Experience Platform, designed to connect the entire journey of a pilot - from discovery flight to professional career. The platform integrates operational management, training progression, safety insights, financing access, and career pathways. Its goal is to help flight schools train pilots more efficiently while improving student progression and operational visibility.
  • Evolution from Flight Schedule Pro to Pilotbase: Flight Schedule Pro began over 20 years ago as a flight scheduling solution and gradually expanded into a comprehensive operational platform for flight schools. Through customer feedback, the company broadened its capabilities beyond scheduling to include pilot records and career tools. The creation of the Pilotbase reflects this broader mission of supporting the entire pilot lifecycle.
  • Customer adoption and early feedback: Several flight training organizations - including large academies, universities, and smaller flight schools - have participated as launch partners in testing the new platform. Early feedback has been very positive, and interest has grown from around 20 initial partners to nearly 100 schools expressing interest. The platform is currently moving into beta testing with selected customers before a wider industry release.
  • Industry trends and Pilotbase’s future focus: Bryan highlighted several key trends shaping flight training: stronger safety standards, increased need for student financing, and the growing role of AI-driven insights. Pilotbase aims to help flight schools meet these challenges by improving operational data visibility, supporting financing access, and using analytics to track student progress and training performance. Ultimately, the platform aims to help more pilots successfully progress through training and into professional aviation careers.
