Global – Flight school management software provider FlightLogger has announced a forthcoming “Student Progression” module designed to enable proactive monitoring and scheduling of student‑cadet progress from day one through to graduation.
The module introduces a “Required Pace” metric for each student, derived from the programme’s target completion date, and compares it with the student’s actual “Booked Pace” (lessons scheduled) to identify ahead/behind status.
Training‑managers, schedulers and heads of training will be able to see real‑time cohort views and prioritise students who are falling behind before delays accumulate.
The tool integrates directly within the existing FlightLogger scheduling workflow—no external dashboards—so that operational teams can act within the same system they already use.
Customisation includes setting an averaging window (e.g., 1‑4 weeks) to reflect local scheduling conditions (holidays, weather‑downtime).
The module initially supports flight training programmes; ground‑training support is planned for a later release.
Existing FlightLogger customers will start with a trial period; after which Student Progression will be available as an add‑on module.
The feature will be previewed at European Airline Training Symposium (EATS) 2025 in Cascais.
FlightLogger’s core platform already supports scheduling, student‑management, compliance, maintenance and training‑program workflows.
