Flight School Management Software Provider Aviatize Achieves ISO 27001 Information Security Certification

June 10, 2026

USA – Aviatize, a flight school and aviation operations management software provider, has achieved ISO 27001 certification for its Information Security Management System (ISMS), with the certification body being Prescient Security.

  • ISO 27001 is the international standard for information security management, requiring organisations to implement, maintain, and continually improve a structured framework for protecting data and managing security risk.
  • The certification was awarded following a rigorous audit process conducted by Prescient Security, and applies to Aviatize's data handling and security practices across its platform used by flight schools and aviation operators worldwide.
  • Aviatize has published its certificate and a real-time security posture overview on a live Trust Center at trust.aviatize.com.
  • The certification is positioned by Aviatize as a direct assurance to current and prospective flight school and aviation organisation clients regarding the security of their operational and student data held within the platform.

Earlier this year Aviatize launched a new Maintenance Module is designed to give flight schools and clubs real-time visibility into aircraft maintenance status, building on the smart technical issue reporting (squawks) functionality introduced in Aviatize 4.0 in mid-2025. The module aims to keep training aircraft operational and reduce schedule disruptions caused by unplanned maintenance. Additional features launched in March 2026 include Schedule Protection, an automated Late Cancellation Policy tool designed to eliminate last-minute scheduling gaps; a New Student Overview with experimental views and smart progress badges; and enhanced Reporting Power enabling combined theory and flight training report generation.

Aviatize 4.0, launched in June 2025, introduced multi-location operations management, native FAA/TSA compliance, streamlined financial workflows, and smart technical issue reporting — all integrated into a single platform. The company also launched Aviatize Connect, its second-generation mobile app, in June 2025, centralising bookings, instructor availability, payments, and reporting for iOS and Android.
