Flight Simulator Manufacturer AMST to Deliver Next-Generation Spatial Disorientation Trainer to Hellenic Air Force

Greece– Simulation and aviation training systems manufacturer AMST has secured a contract to deliver its latest AIRFOX DISO Spatial Disorientation Trainer to the Hellenic Air Force (HAF), replacing the previous system that has been in operation for over two decades.

  • The Hellenic Air Force selected AMST's next-generation AIRFOX DISO system following an international public tender.
  • The upgrade will replace the long-serving trainer located at Athens Air Force General Hospital, which had been operational for more than 20 years.
  • The AIRFOX DISO system offers advanced spatial disorientation training to better prepare military pilots for the physiological challenges of flight.
  • AMST met all technical and budgetary requirements, leveraging its deep familiarity with HAF's training needs.
