Flight Simulator Manufacturer HAVELSAN Receives Device Order from SunExpress
SunExpress has partnered with HAVELSAN for the supply of a Boeing B737NG flight training device (FTD Level II).
The flight training device developed by HAVELSAN will provide SunExpress with a high-quality and efficient training capacity, successfully shaping the pilot training and learning experience. Similar to a full flight simulator, the FTD Level II will provide SunExpress pilots with ample opportunities to refine their skills towards high standards of excellence. The simulator is planned to be installed at the SunExpress Headquarters in Antalya by the end of 2024.

SunExpress recently ordered up to 90 Boeing 737-8 and 737-10 aircraft and plans to double its fleet within the next decade, reaching 150 aircraft by 2033. The carrier plans to hire over 1500 new pilots by 2033 for its expanding fleet.
