Global - MPS, in collaboration with Embraer, launched its new E-Jet simulator product line today. This extension of the MPS product line will allow operators to consider MPS for a broader range of training needs, filling the gap for high quality training in an ever-changing aviation landscape. Both the E1 and E2 narrow-body regional jets will be available as a fixed-based simulator option with the same FSTD capability signature as existing MPS Boeing and Airbus simulators. The simulators will also be manufactured through the same methods already in place at MPS, with an intense focus on high fidelity. The first MPS E-Jet simulator is expected to be delivered in 2027.
This initiative underscores MPS's commitment to innovation and excellence in pilot training. The addition of a simulator type is a large undertaking, with complexities beyond just regulatory allowance. As with its other simulator types, the focus on fidelity, mirroring the intricacies of the actual jets, is top of mind. Moreover, the partnership with Embraer is expected to foster further collaborative opportunities, enhancing the training experience for airlines worldwide. As the aviation industry continues to evolve, MPS remains at the forefront, driving progress and setting new standards in flight simulation.
“MPS is thrilled to launch E-Jet simulators for its customers as it bridges the gap for airlines and operators who utilize E-Jets for short and medium-haul flight paths. With this new addition to our offerings, we are confident that we can support the growth and operational efficiency of airlines that rely on Embraer jets, ensuring they have access to high-quality training solutions tailored to their specific needs.” said Philip Adrian, MPS Chief Executive Officer, “This is a project that has been long in the making. An addition to our product line is extremely rare as there are numerous and significant factors which contribute to launching a new simulator type. The introduction of E-Jet simulators truly reflects team collaboration, dedication to innovation and excellence in the field and an understanding of what our customers want and need. We look forward to the positive impact MPS E-Jet simulators will have on our clients and the aviation industry.”
