Flight Simulator Manufacturer Showcased Generation 2 ITD at Military Flight Training Conference 2025 in Texas, USA

Texas, USA – Ryan Aerospace, a specialist in virtual and mixed-reality flight simulation systems provider, showcased its latest training innovations at the Military Flight Training (MFT) Conference held on October 28–29, 2025, in San Antonio. The event featured CEO and founder Chris Ryan engaging with defence training professionals to present the company’s cutting-edge simulator technology and its applicability to global and regional training needs.

  • Ryan Aerospace had previously designed, built, and delivered over 400 virtual and mixed-reality flight simulators to the U.S. Air Force, Navy, and Army.
  • At the event, the company highlighted its “Generation 2 Immersive Training Device (ITD)”, which builds on modular and reconfigurable design principles and includes:
  • an electric, fully adjustable seat, customizable pedals, and interchangeable control modules
  • integrated power supply, Ethernet switch, and USB hub for each module, enabling aircraft-type changes in minutes using a CAMLOCK system
  • a 5U PC and UPS system mounted on telescopic rails, with lockable caster wheels and portability through standard doorways
  • The simulator was presented as both a fixed- and rotary-wing solution, including configurations such as the HELIMOD Mark III PLUS+ AH-64 Apache Mission Trainer.
  • Ryan Aerospace emphasized how its technology had been supporting defence training programs worldwide and could be tailored for regional operator requirements.
