Thailand – Spanish flight simulator manufacturer Entrol has secured a contract, through its partner RV Connex, to develop a certified FTD Level 3 flight‑training device replicating the Airbus H135 T3H for the Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF). The deal solidifies Entrol’s standing in the defence and rotary‑wing simulation market.
- The device is configured to the RTAF’s H135 T3H variant with Helionix avionics, including an Euronav 7 Digital Moving Map and GTN 750 Xi.
- The visual system will be a spherical display offering ultra‑wide field‑of‑view, and the simulator will support high‑fidelity mission‑training scenarios with Night‑Vision Imaging System (NVIS) compatibility and a vibration system.
- The FTD Level 3 is targeted for Final Acceptance Test (FAT) at Entrol’s Madrid facility in December 2025, with delivery and installation in Thailand scheduled for Q1 2026.
Statements:
- “It is an honor that RV Connex and the Royal Thai Air Force have placed their trust in entrol for such a significant project. An H135 FTD Level 3 simulator is an extremely powerful training tool, and this device, equipped with cutting-edge technology like NVIS and the integrated Euronav 7 Digital Moving Map, will provide unprecedented realism. This project underscores our commitment to the defense sector and our ability to develop bespoke solutions for the world’s most demanding operators.” – Nacho Navacerrada, entrol’s Sales Director
