Flightdeck Solutions Delivers Central America’s First Level 4 C208B Simulator to IFA Costa Rica

Costa Rica– Flightdeck Solutions has delivered a Level 4-compliant Cessna 208B Grand Caravan Flight Training Device (FTD) to Instituto de Formación Aeronáutica (IFA), marking the first installation of its kind in Central America.​

The FDS-C208-FTD features a full-scale aluminum cockpit shell, integrated real aircraft components, and a comprehensive instructor station, enabling scenario-based training and failure simulations​The device is FAA-compliant and designed to replicate the operational environment of the C208B Grand Caravan, supporting both initial and recurrent pilot training programs​The simulator is installed at IFA’s training center in Heredia, Costa Rica, and will serve a diverse clientele, including commercial operators, private pilots, and flight schools​
