FlightLogger Launches AI-Powered Student Summaries and Performance Tab

March 27, 2026

Global – FlightLogger, an industry leading flight school management software provider, has released a major platform update introducing AI-powered training insights, a restructured performance interface, and workflow improvements designed to reduce the administrative burden on flight instructors and training managers in high-volume operations.

  • The centrepiece of the update is AI-powered Student Summaries — an automated analysis of recent lesson data that generates a concise overview of student performance and clearly defined focus areas for the next training session, removing the need for instructors to manually review multiple debriefings to prepare for each lesson.
  • A new consolidated Performance tab brings together AI summaries, grading insights, and CBTA analysis in a single view — replacing the fragmented multi-screen approach previously required to build a complete picture of student progression.
  • A new Debriefings Overview allows instructors to review feedback across all completed lessons with search and filter capability by phase or lesson, enabling pattern-based progress assessment without navigating individual entries.
  • Improved Grading Insights allow instructors to see student development trajectories over time, peer comparison data, and areas requiring additional attention — shifting the function from raw data display to actionable pattern recognition.
  • A Partially Completed Lessons feature allows instructors to register flights immediately after a lesson and complete grading and comments at a later point, supporting compliance with aircraft maintenance handover requirements and reducing the risk of gaps in registration under time-pressured conditions.
  • All AI-generated summaries are produced within a GDPR-compliant environment with no training data shared with external consumer AI services — a compliance-specific design decision relevant to ATOs and DTOs operating under EASA and other regulatory frameworks.
  • Additional platform improvements in the release include enhanced user permissions visibility, a more unified Action Required workflow, and greater consistency across training and operational views.
