Florida, USA – Melbourne Flight Training (MFT) has added two Cessna 172s to its fleet.
Earlier this year Melbourne Flight Training (MFT), a Part 141 flight school based at Melbourne Orlando International Airport, had further strengthened its position as a leader in multi-engine pilot training following the FAA’s approval of self-examining authority across several of its key training programs.
MFT now holds FAA self-examining authority for Instrument Rating, Commercial Multi-Engine Add-On, and Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) courses.
This regulatory milestone enables MFT to conduct in-house checkrides, eliminating delays caused by limited Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE) availability.
The announcement follows the recent delivery of a brand-new Tecnam P2006T MkII aircraft, expanding MFT’s multi-engine fleet to eight, including five Tecnam P2006Ts.
MFT’s Platinum Multi-Engine program now offers accelerated, no-wait multi-engine training with checkride scheduling fully controlled in-house.
