Florida's AeroStar Training Services Seeks Sales Director to Support 2026 Training Business Growth

August 12, 2026

Florida, USA – FAA Part 141 and 142 training provider AeroStar Training Services is recruiting a full-time Sales Director in Greater Orlando to lead sales strategy and revenue development across its ab-initio, ATP-CTP and Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 training activities. The appointment would add senior commercial capacity across individual pilot, corporate and airline accounts following a series of domestic and international training partnerships announced by AeroStar during 2026.

  • Applicants are required to have at least five years of aviation industry experience and at least five years of business development experience, according to the requirements published with the position.
  • The Sales Director will be responsible for the complete sales cycle, including prospecting, lead qualification, proposal development, negotiation and closing business with individual trainees, corporate customers and airline partners.
  • The position also covers sales pipeline management, forecasting, reporting, CRM use and optimization of AeroStar's sales processes and tools, alongside responsibility for coaching and developing the company's sales team.
  • AeroStar is seeking candidates with experience in sales and business development, customer relationship management and team leadership. Experience within aviation, education or professional training is identified as particularly relevant, while candidates require a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, aviation management or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • The role is based on-site in the Greater Orlando area and includes travel for customer meetings, conferences and other aviation industry events. The successful candidate will work with training and operations management to align AeroStar's training products with market demand and contribute to marketing initiatives supporting enrollment.
  • AeroStar has expanded its training distribution network during 2026 through partnerships with US flight schools including First Landings Aviation, Del Sol Aviation, D&J Aviation and Ziyang Pilot Training. The arrangements provide referral or structured progression pathways into AeroStar services including ATP-CTP and aircraft type-rating training.
  • AeroStar has also expanded its addressable international market. In April 2026 it partnered with ICARE in Morlaix, France, with plans to provide FAA ATP-CTP, ATP initial and A320 type-rating training using ICARE's A320ceo/neo Level D full-flight simulator, subject to FAA approval.
  • AFM previously reported that AeroStar also partnered with Avion Full Flight Simulators to establish FAA-approved A320 type-rating and ATP-CTP training at London Luton Airport. The proposed operation will use Avion's A320neo Level D FFS and was expected to commence later in 2026 subject to FAA approval, extending AeroStar's potential commercial reach beyond its US training centers.
  • AeroStar expanded the delivery format of its ATP-CTP product in 2026 after receiving approval for a hybrid program comprising three days of virtual ground instruction followed by two days of onsite simulator training. Simulator sessions are offered at its Kissimmee and Miami locations.
  • AeroStar's current training portfolio includes private, instrument, commercial and flight instructor training together with ATP-CTP, Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 type-rating programs. Its Part 142 offering includes initial, recurrent, upgrade and differences training.
  • AeroStar's Kissimmee operation identifies Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 full-flight simulator capability. The company states that it has two Level D devices covering the A320 and Boeing 737, although the current qualification status and configuration of both devices were not independently verified through the FAA's simulator inventory.
