Florida, USA – Cirrus Aviation, a Sarasota, Florida-based FAA Part 141 flight school and the first US customer for the Elixir Aircraft, has shared a build progress update on its first incoming Elixir — with the aircraft currently progressing through the integration phase, firewall and front landing gear installed, and electrical wiring work ongoing ahead of a planned spring 2026 delivery.
- The Elixir 1 integration update confirms that Cirrus Aviation's first aircraft is on track for spring 2026 delivery — consistent with the timeline disclosed in January 2026 when Cirrus Aviation converted its pre-order to a firm order of ten Elixir aircraft following Elixir Aircraft's FAA Part 23 certification in July 2025.
- Cirrus Aviation was the first flight training organisation in the United States to commit to the Elixir, placing an initial firm order for ten aircraft — making it both the launch customer for Elixir's US market entry and a strategic partner in Elixir Aircraft's planned reassembly facility establishment in Sarasota, Florida.
- The Elixir is a FAA Part 23 and EASA CS-23 certified 4th-generation two-seat training aircraft, manufactured by Elixir Aircraft in La Rochelle, France, using Carbon Oneshot construction technology — a single-piece carbon structure that reduces component count, fuel consumption, and maintenance requirements relative to conventional training aircraft designs.
