Global – Flycore, a CRM platform built specifically for the flight school market, has released two product updates targeting student retention and instructor continuity — enhanced scheduled messaging with event-based automation, and an automated instructor handoff briefing tool.

• Flycore's scheduled messaging capability has been expanded to allow flight schools to trigger communications and internal reminders based on specific training events and milestones, both before and after they occur. Use cases include pre-flight and pre-checkride reminder texts, follow-up messages after discovery flights, re-engagement notifications for students who have not flown recently, and internal team reminders in place of outgoing student-facing messages.
• The update addresses a pattern identified across the platform's customer base: schools were already attempting these communications informally and manually. Flycore's expansion structures them into a single, automated, and consistently executed workflow.
• The second update introduces an automated instructor handoff briefing, generated when a new student is assigned to an instructor. The briefing compiles student goals and training objectives, programme enrolment details, outstanding requirements or documents, and background information gathered during onboarding — delivering context to the instructor without requiring the student to repeat information already provided.
• The handoff tool is designed to close the continuity gap between a school's enrolment and sales process and the start of practical training, an area identified by customer feedback as a point of recurring friction in the student experience.
• Both updates are positioned against a broader industry pattern in which student retention, scheduling efficiency, and consistent communication are increasingly recognised as interdependent operational outcomes for flight schools.
