United Arab Emirates – Vertical AUPRT, the Advanced Upset Prevention and Recovery Training specialist of Action Flight Aviation Group based at Ras Al Khaimah International Airport, has confirmed it is actively supporting flydubai's CAR-FCL.745(A) regulatory AUPRT requirements for new pilot recruits — with flydubai Chief Technical Pilot Captain Rodrigo Barradas visiting and flying at the facility as part of the airline's engagement with the program.

• The visit by Captain Barradas in his capacity as flydubai's Chief Technical Pilot represents a formal technical and operational assessment of Vertical AUPRT's delivery capability, with the facility now confirmed as a provider supporting flydubai's on-aircraft AUPRT requirements for new entrant pilots joining the airline's fleet.
• CAR-FCL.745(A) is the regulatory framework requiring newly qualified pilots entering airline operations to complete Advanced Upset Prevention and Recovery Training on real aircraft — a requirement that cannot be fully met through simulator-based training alone, as it mandates exposure to actual aerodynamic upset conditions, energy management, and G-forces in a controlled flight environment.
• Vertical AUPRT delivers the training in the Extra 330, an aerobatic platform specifically selected to provide pilots with genuine upset condition exposure — including real aircraft behaviour, energy management, and the physical sensation of G-forces — giving candidates a depth of understanding that supplementary simulator-based UPRT cannot replicate.
