flydubai Prepares to Open New Full Flight Simulator Training Center with 2 B737MAX FFS

Dubai, United Arab Emirates – flydubai, a Dubai-based airline, is set to officially open its state-of-the-art Flight Training Centre in the coming weeks. The facility, located at the flydubai Campus, was recently inspected by the airline’s Chairman, His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum.

  • The new Flight Training Centre spans 38,000 square feet and features six simulator bays, designed to provide over 43,000 training hours annually.
  • Two Boeing 737 Full-Flight Simulators (FFS) have already been installed, with two additional simulators planned for installation by the end of 2026.
  • The centre includes briefing and debriefing rooms, classrooms, and advanced computer-based training rooms to support pilot training.
  • Its modular design allows for future expansion, ensuring flexibility in accommodating growing training demands.
  • The facility enhances flydubai’s in-house training capabilities and has the potential to offer training services to other airlines in the future.
