flydubai Seeks to Hire for Officer - MPL Policies & Regulations

United Arab Emirates – Dubai-based airline flydubai is recruiting an Officer – MPL Policies & Regulations to manage regulatory compliance, governance and coordination for its Multi-Crew Pilot Licence programme. The role would add dedicated oversight of programme approvals, training documentation, instructor and simulator compliance, and regulatory reporting as flydubai expands its cadet pipeline and in-house Boeing 737 training capacity.

  • The vacancy seeks a candidate with a bachelor’s degree of at least three years’ duration, fluent English, a minimum of one year of corporate experience and three to five years of relevant experience.
  • The officer will be responsible for ensuring that flydubai’s MPL programme complies with UAE General Civil Aviation Authority CAR-FCL and CAR-OPS requirements, IATA Operational Safety Audit requirements, approved training manuals and the airline’s internal training frameworks.
  • Responsibilities include monitoring regulatory changes and assessing their effect on MPL syllabi, manuals, procedures, approvals and training operations.
  • The position will maintain compliance records covering programme approvals, regulatory deviations, corrective actions, authority correspondence and the status of audit findings.
  • The officer will coordinate regulatory submissions, exemptions, revisions and supporting documentation, as well as evidence and responses required during GCAA audits, inspections and authority reviews.
  • The remit covers controlled MPL documentation, including training manuals, policies, procedures and syllabi, together with trainee records, instructor qualifications, assessments and competency documentation.
  • The role will monitor the validity and regulatory alignment of simulator approvals, training devices, courseware and training standards used within the MPL programme.
  • The officer will support competency-based training and assessment governance, safety investigations, occurrence reviews and risk assessments affecting MPL training operations.
  • The position will act as a coordination point between Flight Operations Training, Safety, Compliance Monitoring, Quality Assurance, regulatory authorities and external training providers.
  • Reporting responsibilities include preparing compliance dashboards and management summaries covering approvals, instructor currency, trainee progression, audit findings, regulatory correspondence and potential compliance risks.
