flydubai to Host August 2026 Recruitment Event Across Pilot and Technical Pathways

United Arab Emirates – Dubai-based airline flydubai will hold a UAE National Careers Open Day at its Dubai campus on August 16, 2026, covering pilot, engineering, flight-dispatch, graduate and corporate career pathways.

  • The open day will run from 10:00 to 16:00 on Sunday, August 16, at the flydubai Campus in Dubai. Registration opened on July 31 and closes on August 15, with attendance subject to confirmation and venue capacity.
  • Opportunities presented at the event will include the Ab Initio and Second Officer pilot training program's, UAE National Graduate Program's and various other positions.
  • flydubai said its workforce comprises nearly 7,000 employees, including approximately 2,000 pilots and engineers.
  • The airline currently operates 97 Boeing 737 aircraft and has more than 300 aircraft on order, including:
    • 30 Boeing 787-9s
    • 150 Airbus A321neos
    • 75 additional Boeing 737 MAX
  • AFM previously reported that flydubai opened its 2026 Ab Initio MPL program to Emirati candidates in July and had launched a Flight Dispatcher Cadet Program with Emirates Aviation University for UAE nationals with no previous aviation experience.
