Saudi Arabia – flynas, Saudi Arabia's largest low-cost carrier, has selected Airbus to implement Evidence-Based Training (EBT) across its pilot training program, making flynas the first airline in Saudi Arabia to adopt the advanced training methodology.

  • Flynas becomes the first Saudi Arabian airline to introduce EBT standards into its training program, positioning the carrier at the forefront of pilot training methodology adoption in the Kingdom.
  • Evidence-Based Training is a competency-based approach that uses data from operational experience and evidence from training to continuously improve pilot training programs, replacing traditional prescriptive training syllabi with targeted, risk-based training focused on the competencies most relevant to operational safety.
  • In addition to the EBT implementation, Airbus will equip flynas pilots with MATe (Mobile Airbus Training experience), its latest digital training solution designed to optimise training time and drive operational effectiveness through mobile-accessible training content.
