flynas Places 2026 Order for Additional 5 Airbus A330-900s and 20 A321neos

Saudi Arabia – flynas has placed a firm order with aircraft manufacturer Airbus for five additional A330-900s and 20 additional A321neos, increasing its firm Airbus commitment to 235 aircraft.

• The order increases flynas’ total A330neo commitment to 20 aircraft and its A321neo commitment to 56 aircraft.
• Airbus identified flynas’ current Airbus fleet as 67 aircraft, comprising:
  • 2x A330-300s
  • 4x A320ceos
  • 61x A320neos
• flynas said the additional aircraft will support growth across its six Saudi operating bases and strengthen the planned expansion of flynas Syria. The carrier announced Al-Qassim as its sixth Saudi base in June 2026, following the addition of Abha earlier in the year.
• flynas signed an agreement with the Syrian General Authority of Civil Aviation and Air Transport in February 2026 to establish flynas Syria as a commercial airline operating under applicable Syrian aviation regulations.
• The airline’s training relationship with Airbus also expanded in April 2026, when flynas selected the manufacturer to implement Evidence-Based Training and provide its Mobile Airbus Training experience digital platform across the carrier’s pilot-training programme.
