FMS Training Solutions Provider Heading365 Expands Lufthansa Aviation Training Partnership with A350 and A380 FMS Trainer PRO Access

Germany – Heading365, an Austria-headquartered Flight Management System (FMS) training solutions provider, has announced the expansion of its partnership with Lufthansa Aviation Training (LAT), adding A350 and A380 FMS Trainer PRO platforms to the existing collaboration. The agreement extends Lufthansa Aviation Training customers' access to high-fidelity, pre-simulator FMS training across widebody aircraft types.

• The expanded partnership gives LAT customers access to Heading365's A350 and A380 FMS Trainer PRO software, enabling pilots to master flight management system procedures outside of the simulator environment. The approach reduces simulator time requirements and allows pilots to focus on higher-order competencies during their FFS sessions.
• The A380 FMS Trainer PRO was launched by Heading365 in February 2026, expanding the company's portfolio to cover 92% of all active commercial airliners. The device offers realistic system behaviour, worldwide navigation data, and extensive customisation options tailored to airline-specific standard operating procedures.
• The LAT partnership expansion deepens Heading365's already significant presence within the Lufthansa Group ecosystem. Existing partnerships include Lufthansa City Airlines (selected Heading365 for A320 FMS training as the carrier scales to 80 aircraft) and Discover Airlines (500 pilots training on customised A320 and A330 FMS Trainer software). The LAT expansion now brings widebody A350 and A380 platforms into the Lufthansa Group relationship.
• Beyond the Lufthansa Group, Heading365 announced a strategic partnership with Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) in February 2026, equipping all pilots across SWISS's A320, A330, A340, and Boeing 777 fleets with customised FMS trainer software.
