France – Aviation technology developer Foxtrot Aviation has received an accelerator prize from NAP at the Stage Two 2026 startup competition in Berlin, Germany, recognising its work on Physical AI-based aircraft predictive maintenance. The award supports the company's development of data-driven maintenance technology aimed at general aviation operators, including flight schools seeking greater visibility into aircraft condition and maintenance requirements.
- Foxtrot Aviation Co-founder and CEO Elisabeth Monteiller presented the company's predictive maintenance technology during a two-minute pitch at Stage Two 2026, held in Berlin on October 22–23, representing ESCP Business School and its Blue Factory entrepreneurship initiative.
- The company was selected to receive an accelerator prize from NAP, providing an opportunity to engage with startup development specialists and investors.
- Foxtrot Aviation is developing Foxtrot Insight, a Physical AI-based aircraft health monitoring solution designed to analyse engine and operational data, identify abnormal behaviour and support maintenance troubleshooting before issues develop into operational disruptions.
- For flight schools and general aviation operators, the technology is intended to support aircraft availability and maintenance planning by analysing flight and engine performance data across individual aircraft and fleets. The company is developing the capability to identify deviations from expected operating behaviour rather than relying solely on predefined warning thresholds.
- AFM previously reported that Foxtrot Aviation launched its General Aviation Digital Hub in May 2026, providing flight tracking, operational analytics and predictive maintenance capabilities. In June 2026, AFM also covered the company's introduction of automated EFIS avionics data collection, enabling flight schools to use aircraft performance information for instructor debriefing and fleet monitoring.
- Foxtrot Aviation's technology combines connected flight data recording with cloud-based analytics. Its Foxtrot Tracking solution collects avionics and engine data from compatible aircraft systems and transmits the information over 4G, while Foxtrot Insight analyses operating parameters such as engine load, RPM, temperature, altitude and flight phase to identify deviations from expected aircraft behaviour.
