France’s Hexagone Aviation School Selects Tecnam Aircraft to Modernize Training Fleet
France – Hexagone Aviation School, an Approved Training Organisation (ATO) based in northern France, has announced the acquisition of two new Tecnam training aircraft—the P-Mentor and P2006T NG—as part of a strategic fleet modernization initiative focused on enhancing training quality, operational efficiency, and student experience.
-
The acquisition marks a key milestone for Hexagone Aviation School, aligning with its commitment to modern, safe, and technologically advanced training platforms for both private and professional pilot training.
-
The Tecnam P-Mentor, a two-seat IFR-certified single-engine trainer with a full glass cockpit, is designed for initial and instrument training, providing flight physics and systems aligned with commercial airline demands.
-
The Tecnam P2006T NG is widely regarded as one of the most efficient multi-engine trainers globally, ideal for Integrated ATPL programs, offering full exposure to multi-engine operations in a cost-effective and modern platform.
-
The delivery reflects Tecnam’s expanding footprint in the French pilot training market, supported by its local partner KRISTAL.aero, which offers distribution, maintenance (MRO), spare parts, and software support across France.
-
KRISTAL.AIRCRAFT, the aircraft sales and consulting division of KRISTAL.aero, facilitated the acquisition and will provide after-sales and operational support from its France-wide service network.
