Well known french flight school Mermoz Academy has launched a social media campaign where it is giving away a single-engine flight in the lead up to Christmas.

“From 1 to 24 December, you can find our aeroplane calendar from Monday to Friday in story, and also a post-contest every Saturday for a chance to win one of our 4 prizes! For this first contest, we are offering you the chance to win a single-engine flight on one of our aircraft.

The winner will be able to enjoy this flight with one of our passionate instructors from Tours or Nîmes, as chosen.

Earlier this year Mermoz Academy also announced that a brand-new building is being completed at Nîmes airport and will open its doors for the new school year in January 2024. In addition to modern equipment for ground instruction, the new centre will be supplied with the flight school’s latest Tecnam aircraft: P-Mentors and twin-engined P2006s.

Back in February 2023 – Tecnam and Mermoz Academy announced the signature of a contract for 10 Tecnam’s P-Mentor for its fleet expansion program. The aircraft will be used for both PPL – Private Pilot License – as well as the MPL – Multi Pilot License – courses. One of the reasons for this choice, beyond the great fuel consumption rates, is the lowest CO2 emissions, that makes the P-Mentor the aircraft of choice for students and Flight Schools.
