France – Astonfly has welcomed 54 student pilots into its September 2026 intake at its Paris-Saclay-Versailles campus. The cohort begins training within an academy that schedules four student intakes each year and delivers ab-initio training through commercial pilot licensing, multi-engine, instrument, UPRT and multi-crew preparation.

  • The September class comprises 54 new student pilots. During their first week, the trainees completed induction activities and were introduced to Astonfly's classrooms, instructors, aircraft and flight simulation infrastructure before progressing into their respective training programs.
  • Astonfly currently publishes a training fleet of 24 aircraft and five simulators. The aircraft comprise 15 Cessna 172S aircraft, eight Diamond DA42s and one Mudry Cap 10, while its synthetic training equipment comprises three ALSIM AL250 FNPT II devices and two Boeing 737 FNPT II-MCC simulators.
  • Astonfly's admissions model provides four annual start periods in March, June, September and December. Its current Multi Airlines pathway is structured as a 24-month full-time course covering ATPL theoretical knowledge, FCL.055, CPL, MEP, IR ME, UPRT and APS MCC training; Astonfly also offers a separate Ryanair Future Flyer Academy pathway.
