Spain - FTEJerez is pleased to announce the continued expansion of its Piper training fleet with the acquisition of two additional Piper Archer DX aircraft, currently being assembled at Piper Aircraft’s facilities in the United States. The aircraft are scheduled to arrive in Jerez in August, where they will begin the certification process before entering service.
With these latest additions, FTE’s Piper Archer fleet will grow to a total of 13 aircraft, further strengthening the school’s training capacity and supporting the increasing demand for high-quality airline pilot training.
“Our continued investment in the Piper Archer DX reflects our long-term commitment to providing the highest standards of flight training,” said Oscar Sordo, CEO of FTEJerez. “Expanding the fleet allows us to continue supporting our students and airline partners while maintaining the quality standards that FTEJerez is known for.”
The Piper Archer DX has become a key component of FTE’s training operations since the first aircraft entered service. Equipped with modern avionics and powered by a fuel-efficient diesel engine, the aircraft offers an ideal training environment while supporting the organisation’s commitment to sustainability and operational excellence.
The arrival of the two new aircraft will bring FTE’s total fleet to 46 aircraft, reinforcing its position as one of Europe’s leading flight training organisations and ensuring sufficient capacity to support future growth across its integrated and airline-sponsored training programmes.
