Spain – FTEJerez, the Jerez de la Frontera-headquartered pilot training group, has added a new tail-wheel aircraft to its fleet for Aerobatic Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (AUPRT), with CFI Jesús González Real leading the introduction of the aircraft — registered EC-OOZ — into the academy's training programme.

  • The new AUPRT aircraft expands FTEJerez's training capability in upset prevention and recovery, a training element increasingly integrated into ab initio airline pilot curricula.
  • The aircraft is a tail-wheel type operated from the rear seat, consistent with traditional aerobatic and UPRT training methodologies designed to develop advanced handling skills and spatial awareness in student pilots.
