Funded Avia Solutions Group Abinitio Pilot Training Program Pilot Runway’s Open Door Day Welcomes 100 Aspiring Pilots in Vilnius in January 2025

Vilnius, Lithuania– Avia Solutions Group, the world’s largest ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance) provider, with a fleet of over 200 aircraft, via its subsidiary BAA Training launched its partially sponsored abinitio program – Pilot Runway – in April 2024. The financed training program with a job guarantee will see the training of 200 new pilots a year to support the Group’s global expansion and growth and will be run in partnership with the Group’s ACMI companies, starting with Avion Express.

Pilot Runway hosted a successful Open Door Day event in Vilnius in January 2025, attracting around 100 aspiring pilots.

Attendees toured BAA Training’s facilities, including classrooms, Flight Training Devices (FTDs), and full-flight simulators.Guest speaker First Officer Dagne Dainauskaite, a BAA Training alumna, delivered an inspiring presentation on the pilot profession, sharing insights about the challenges and rewards of the career.The next Pilot Runway event is scheduled for Warsaw.
