Airbus has indicated its plan and expectation of producing 50 A320neos monthly by the end of the year as well as meeting its delivery target of 700 commercial aircraft.

This information was shared by Airbus’s CFO Dominik Asam as he was briefing capital markets and further highlighted the aircraft’s manufacturers thoughts on the recovery;

• Slower ramp-up of deliveries
• “It will not be possible” to reach pre-pandemic delivery levels in 2023
• Plans to increase monthly production rate of 65 in 2024 with long term plans for 75
