Global Aviation Welcomed 18 Students to May 2026 ATP Integrated Class

Greece – one of the country's largest flight training organisation's Global Aviation SA has welcomed 18 students into its May 2026 ATP Integrated class.

  • The program has an average duration of 18 months and leads from no previous flying experience to a CPL with multi-engine and instrument ratings, ATP theoretical knowledge credit, Advanced UPRT and APS MCC training.
  • Global Aviation’s current syllabus includes approximately 800 hours of classroom instruction and at least 230 training hours excluding examination flights. The flying and simulator allocation comprises 134 hours in single-engine aircraft, 11 hours in multi-engine aircraft and 85 hours in FNPT II devices.
  • Of the program’s minimum training total, students complete at least 72 pilot-in-command hours and 145 hours under instrument flight rules. The six flight-training phases cover VFR instruction, instrument and multi-engine training, Advanced UPRT and APS MCC.
  • Global Aviation’s confirmed fleet comprises 20 aircraft:
    • 12x Piper PA-28 Warriors
    • 6x glass-cockpit Cessna 172 Skyhawks
    • 2x Piper Seminoles
    • With another 5 Elixir on order
  • Its simulation inventory comprises two Elite FNPT II devices and one Simnest Airbus A320 FNPT II MCC device.
  • The academy conducts ground training in Athens and maintains its established flight and maintenance operation at Pachi Airport in Megara. It also secured an operating licence in March 2026 for the privately owned Ikaros Airport, which has an 858-metre asphalt runway and is intended to accommodate training and general-aviation activity.
  • AFM previously reported that Global Aviation recorded 138 ATP Integrated enrolments during 2025, alongside a 65% increase in student numbers and a 19% increase in total training sessions.
