Global FFS Operator Seeking to Hire Simulator Technicians for New Dubai Training Center in 2025

Dubai, United Arab Emirates– CAE is hiring Simulator Technician to support flight simulator training operations at a new Training Center in Dubai. This role involves technical maintenance, troubleshooting, and support for Flight Simulator Training Devices (FSTD) and Cabin Crew Training Devices, ensuring smooth and efficient training center operations.

Key Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and troubleshooting on Full Flight SimulatorsConduct daily readiness checks, system updates, and QTG evaluationsIdentify recurring technical issues and implement long-term solutionsAssist in software updates, including Nav DB, Terr DB, OIS & EFB ChartsMaintain inventory, tools, and consumable items for maintenance operationsProvide on-the-job training and mentoring to other techniciansEnsure compliance with EASA, UAE DGCA, and other aviation regulatory requirements

Candidate Requirements

Technical Diploma/Degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Aviation3-6 years of experience in simulator maintenance or related fieldProficiency in English (written & spoken)Strong hardware and software background in motion, visual, avionics, aircraft systemsKnowledge of Airbus commercial aircraft systems (preferred)Experience with simulator networking, operating systems, and programming languagesUnderstanding of Commercial Aviation training and regulatory standards (EASA, UAE DGCA, etc.)
