Global Flight Training Group, Airways Aviation, Announces Scholarship Fund to Support Female Pilots in Australia
Gold Coast, Australia – Airways Aviation Group has launched a new scholarship initiative aimed at increasing female participation in the commercial aviation sector. In celebration of International Women’s Day 2025, the flight training provider is offering partial scholarships to qualifying women pursuing their pilot training.
- Airways Aviation has committed an additional €500,000 in scholarships for women in 2025.
- The initiative builds on the company’s history of awarding over €1 million in female scholarships over the past decade.
- Successful applicants can receive up to €10,000 towards their EASA ATPL training at Airways Aviation’s European academies or up to AUD 10,000 for their CASA CPL training in Australia.
- The scholarship covers only training costs and excludes expenses such as medicals, visa fees, accommodation, and other associated costs.
- Selection is based on performance in the Adapt – Symbiotics Pilot Entry Test, with a fee of €220 for applicants.
- Eligible candidates must qualify for necessary visas or study permits to train at designated Airways Aviation locations in Europe and Australia.
Over the past decade, Airways Aviation Group has provided in excess of €1 million in female scholarships, thereby creating a meaningful impact in encouraging and empowering more women to join the increasingly important aviation industry.
