Global Flight Training Group Airways Aviation’s Base in Italy Strengthens Role in Forlì’s Aerospace Cluster
Italy – Airways Aviation Italy (Professione Volare), part of the global Airways Aviation pilot and aviation training group, welcomed local officials to its Forlì base as part of broader efforts to establish the city as a future “Aviation Valley”. Mayor Gian Luca Zattini and Councillor Paola Casara visited the academy, highlighting its role within the region’s aerospace cluster.

Mayor Zattini emphasized Forlì’s ambition to position itself as a national aerospace hub, bringing together training, innovation, and industrial partnerships.
- Airways Aviation Italy (Professione Volare), alongside Albatechnics, was recognized as a key contributor to regional economic growth and employment through pilot training and aircraft maintenance.

Captain Mauro Calvano, Group CEO of Airways Aviation, confirmed that the group is strengthening its European presence by expanding Forlì into a new hub, complementing recent developments in Australia, Northern Europe, and Portugal.
