USA – Avenger Flight Training (AFT) has launched its new Scholarship Program, awarding free Airbus A320 Type Ratings to eight pilots each year, with the goal of lowering barriers to entry and empowering the next generation of aviators.

• Awarded twice per year, with 4 recipients per session.
• Covers the full cost of an A320 Type Rating course.
• Applicants must submit a 1,000-word essay addressing personal barriers to entering aviation and how they will use their training to mentor or inspire others.
• The inaugural class started training in Dallas this week.
• All recipients are active members of aviation organizations including OBAP, The Ninety-Nines, LPA, WAI, and SAFE.
