Spain – Global Training Aviation (GTA), an Indra company providing full-flight simulator training from centers in Madrid, Bogotá, and Jakarta, has brought a new Airbus A320neo Full Flight Simulator online at its Madrid facility, expanding the center's Level D FFS fleet to five simulators and adding A320neo-specific training capability alongside its existing A320ceo platform.

The new A320neo FFS joins GTA Madrid's existing simulator infrastructure, which previously comprised four Level D Full Flight Simulators (Airbus A320, Boeing B737, ATR 72-500, and ATR 72-600), an A320 CEET emergency evacuation simulator, and a VPT trainer for A320 and B737 procedures across two simulator centers near Madrid Barajas Airport.
GTA Madrid operates from two simulator centers: the SENASA SIM Centre at Avenida de la Hispanidad 12 in Barajas, housing the B737, ATR 500, ATR 600, and VPT A320-B737 simulators; and the Indra Simulator Centre in Coslada, which exclusively features the A320 simulators.
The first group of cadets to fly the new A320neo FFS were DGCA India Type Rating students who completed a touch-and-go session as part of their graduation program, alongside VPT sessions in the full-flight simulator and a mid-course mentoring session with Francisco Espinosa Valtueña, GTA's Standardization Manager.
GTA highlighted that it has over 20 years of experience training Indian pilots, reinforcing its long-standing position in the DGCA India type rating market from its Madrid base.
