Global pilot training group Skyborne which operates flight training bases across the United Kingdom and the United States, celebrated the induction day for around 20 new student pilots in July 2024 with half of the batch coming from the British Airways Speedbird Pilot Pilot Academy program.

“This will be the fourth course for the Academy starting at the school with the first course already about to finish groundschool and head off to 🇺🇸 for their flight training! I am joined by Alistair Thompson who is part of the British Airways recruitment team and will be the school liaison pilot. He and Amie Kirkham will be there to support the entire course, offering guidance and help as they go through the 18 months of training.
