Europe – BAA Training has officially welcomed a cohort of 20 cadets into its dedicated pathway programme for Qatar Airways, designed to train them to the required standard for a First Officer position with the airline. The initiative is part of the broader five‑year cadet‑pilot agreement between the two organisations.
The program is designed to deliver airline-tailored, competency-based MPL training, ensuring cadets master both technical skills and the core competencies required for safe and proficient operations. The training pathway includes theoretical instruction, single-engine flight training, multi-engine practice on FNPT II devices, and Type Rating on A320 full flight simulators and FTD Level 2 devices.
The partnership with Qatar Airways is structured to train up to 150 cadets annually
