Global pilot training solution provider and flight simulator manufacturer CAE has shared that it has signed a a long-term agreement for the CAE Pelesys Training Management and Deployment System and Aircraft Type and Special Operations CBT for initial and recurrent training with Vietnam’s largest low-cost carrier VietJet Air.

“Starting October 1, approximately 5,000 users, including 1,000 VietJet pilots, will benefit from the CAE Pelesys software suite.

The use of CAE Pelesys is part of Vietjet’s digital transformation, which will standardize training delivery and management and seamlessly integrate training management data into the airline’s operations systems. The deployment of CBT will make training more convenient for pilots and more cost-effective for the airline.
