Global Pilot Training Solution Provider CAE Supports Over 30 Airlines from Kuala Lumpur Training Facility
Global pilot training solution provider CAE had the pleasure of welcoming Goldy Hyder, President and CEO of the Business Council of Canada and Paul Thoppil, Lead Trade Commissioner for the Indo-Pacific to CAE’s commercial aviation training centre in Kuala Lumpur, as part of Team Canada’s Trade Mission to Malaysia and Vietnam. CAE Kuala Lumpur supports more than 30 airlines in the region, providing pilot and cabin crew training.
“We are grateful to the Chief Minister of Selangor, Amirudin Shari, and the team at Invest Selangor Berhad for their support of CAE’s operations in their state,” said CAE.
During the Trade Mission visit, CAE had the pleasure of signing the extension of their cooperation with Vietnam Airlines for operating Airbus A350 and Boeing 787 Full Flight Simulators (FFS) until the end of 2033. With a significant footprint in the region and the confidence they have fostered with local governments, regulatory agencies, and customers, CAE is well-positioned to be a key partner in training the personnel who give the region’s aviation industry wings today and into the future.
