Global Pilot Training Solution Provider L3Harris Airline Academy Announces Partnership with UK’s Flag Carrier
United Kingdom-headquartered pilot training organization L3Harris Airline Academy announced its partnership with British Airways to deliver the highly anticipated Speedbird Self-Sponsored Pathway! Under this program, students embarking on the pathway are set to secure a promising future as First Officers for British Airways or BA EuroFlyer, flying Airbus A320 upon successful completion of their training.
Back in July 2023, British Airways (BA) announced L3Harris Airline Academy as an accredited pilot recruitment partner. The exciting agreement allows BA to select newly qualified pilots from L3Harris’ Graduate Placement Pool as well as ‘tagging’ students in various stages of their training.
“Throughout the year, we’ve been sharing our employment statistics regularly as airlines across Europe hire L3Harris graduates. With 317 employed since 2022 alone, this new agreement with British Airways builds further on our existing airline relationships and we are now even more excited for the career prospects of our students and graduates,” said L3Harris.
This latest partnership features the following:
- Conditional job offer with British Airways for students on this programme
- L3Harris Full Flight Simulators on location at British Airways training centres
- Hundreds of British Airways pilots train at at L3Harris’ London Training Centre every year
- Hundreds of L3Harris graduates have gone on to fly for British Airways
- Existing British Airways pilots regularly train at L3Harris’ pilot training centre
