Back in 2002, two French entrepreneurs Mr Eric Renault and Jean Marc Petit established SIMAERO in Dinard, in a region of Britany in France, by installing two Fokker full flight simulators. They started with only 1 employee in a 16 square meters office.

SIMAERO is today a global provider of flight simulation, pilot training, and engineering services, with training centers in France, South Africa and China. The group operates 18 full flight simulators provides services to over 200 civil and military clients from more than 80 countries.

For the 20th anniversary occasion, the entire SIMAERO Group came together to celebrate the company’s 20th anniversary. The offices of Paris, Johannesburg, Dinard, and Shanghai, all joined in via videoconference to celebrate together.

The Full Flight Simulators and training solutions cover a comprehensive range of aircraft types including Airbus A320, A330, A340, A350; Boeing 737, B757, B767, B777, B787, ATR 42/72-500/600, ERJ 145, Beech 1900, Dash 8, MD80/82, Fokker 100.  SIMAERO also provides Simulator Engineering Services to numerous clients across the world. The services include simulators relocation, repair and upgrade as well as simulator preparation for certification and operation. In Joint Venture with HNCA, SIMAERO is providing simulator engineering and maintenance services in China.
