Greece – Egnatia Aviation, one of the country's largest aviation training organisations, reinforced its long-standing partnership with Aegean Airlines through a recent visit by senior training executives from the airline, highlighting continued alignment in cadet training and pilot development.

The Aegean Airlines Cadet Scheme with Egnatia Aviation has been ongoing since 2018, highlighting a continued collaboration aimed at developing airline-ready pilots.
The program is a full-time course with a duration of 17 to 19 months and significantly facilitates the access of new talents to a demanding and high-cost career path, since the total cost of the tuition for a future pilot, including the type rating, exceeds 90,000 euros. AEGEAN’s total investment in the specific initiative exceeds 7 million euros, while a similar initiative has been launched for Aviation Engineers.
