Greece's Egnatia Aviation Reports 55.6% Instructor Growth Since 2024

Greece – Egnatia Aviation, the country's largest flight training organisation, reported growth in its flight instructor team, since 2024, to 28 instructors representing 10 nationalities. The instructor growth directly supported Egnatia Aviation's broader 2025 capacity expansion, which included an 18% rise in cadet intake and a 21% increase in training hours delivered.

  • The current instructor team represents 10 nationalities: Greece, France, Belgium, Germany, Turkey, Sweden, Iran, Iraq, Portugal, and Cyprus.
  • Egnatia Aviation also added 6 Elixir Aircraft to its fleet in 2025 with a further 9 on order.
  • Egnatia Aviation recently celebrated the enrolment of its 100th batch in its 20th year of operation.
  • AFM previously reported that Egnatia Aviation's broader 2025 hiring effort added 35 new staff in total — including 14 flight and theoretical instructors combined — bringing its overall workforce to 117 professionals.
