Greece’s Egnatia Group Reports Strategic Growth, Global Recognition, and Operational Expansion in 2025

Greece – Kavala based flight training organisation Egnatia Group closed 2025 with significant strategic achievements, including renewed airline partnerships, regulatory approvals, operational growth and infrastructure investment.

  • Egnatia reaffirmed trust with key partners through the renewal of long‑standing training contracts with Aegean Airlines and Iraqi Airways

  • Operational growth was tangible in 2025, with an 18% increase in cadets, a 21% rise in delivered training hours, the addition of 6 new Elixir aircraft to the fleet, and 9 aircraft on order, supporting scaling of training capacity.
  • Infrastructure development advanced with the construction of a new training and management building, a new terminal, and ongoing development of commercial and accommodation facilities aimed at shaping a future‑ready training campus.

  • Egnatia’s workforce expanded to 117 aviation specialists, including 35 new professionals and 14 new flight & theoretical instructors, enhancing instructional capacity and continuity for airline‑standard program delivery.

  • The cadet community diversified and grew, welcoming 192 new cadets across 6 Integrated ATPL batches, with representation from 47 nationalities and including 19 female cadets and airline‑sponsored trainees—demonstrating Egnatia’s global training reach.

  • The organisation strengthened its international presence and industry engagement with active participation in major global aviation events, including Dubai Airshow, EATS, APATS, AERO Friedrichshafen, Athens Flying Week, and PilotExpo.

  • A major regulatory milestone was achieved with full approval from the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA)

  • Egnatia’s efforts beyond operational training were recognised with multiple industry awards, including Gold in the Social Media Awards 2025, Silver in the PR Awards, and Silver in the HR Awards
