Greek Flight School Egnatia Aviation Expands Aviation Training Ties in 2025 Across Iraq and Kurdistan

Iraq– Egnatia Aviation, one of Greece’s largest flight training organisations, has reinforced its commitment to aviation development in the Middle East with a multi-stop engagement tour in Iraq and Kurdistan. The visit included strategic meetings, educational outreach, and renewal of institutional ties, solidifying the academy’s role as a long-term training partner in the region.

The academy’s leadership participated in the Delphi Forum Slemani, a major platform discussing security, energy, and investment trends across the MENA region. Discussions with Iraqi Airways and the Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) focused on upholding training standards and enhancing current collaboration. Further educational cooperation was explored with Almaaqal University of Basra, while outreach at Basra Ishik Schools introduced students to pilot career pathways through vocational guidance sessions.
