Turkiye – headquartered flight simulator manufacturer HAVELSAN has taken a strategic step to strengthen its global vision in advanced simulation and training solutions for rotary-wing platforms by signing a comprehensive cooperation agreement with U.S.-based Advanced Rotocraft Technology, Inc. (ART).

Within the scope of the collaboration, HAVELSAN and Advanced Rotarcraft Technology will carry out joint activities in the field of simulation and training solutions for rotary-wing aircraft. The agreement aims at the development of simulators for both military and civil pilot training, the integration of high-fidelity and engine models, and the creation of simulation environments tailored to different mission profiles.

By combining HAVELSAN’s globally established simulator infrastructure and expertise in training technologies with ART’s technologies, advanced know-how in rotary wing flight physics and engine modeling, the partnership aims to establish one of the most advanced simulation platforms focused on military training and operational readiness. Through this collaboration, a holistic simulation approach will be delivered, supporting both basic pilot training and complex military mission scenarios for helicopters and VTOL platforms.

Key areas of collaboration include:

• Development & Integration: Jointly integrating high-fidelity rotorcraft flight dynamics and engine models into HAVELSAN simulators.
• Model Validation: Ensuring the highest levels of realism and accuracy.
• Simulator Certification: Collaborating on simulator qualification and customer acceptance processes.
