HAVELSAN Grows Airbus A320 Flight Simulator Orderbook to 6 Devices

Türkiye - HAVELSAN, a flight simulator manufacturer headquartered in Türkiye, is seeing growing international demand for its Airbus A320 family training solutions, with six additional devices currently on order alongside five Airbus A320 full flight simulators already in operation.

All HAVELSAN-manufactured A320 full flight simulators currently in service having achieved European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) qualification and multiple airlines and training centers are currently evaluating HAVELSAN devices, including conducting evaluation fly-outs to assess the handling characteristics, fidelity and training capabilities of the company’s Airbus A320 family full flight simulators.

HAVELSAN is showcasing its Airbus A320 family training solutions at the Asia Pacific Aviation Training Summit 2026 as airlines and training organizations across the region continue to expand their Airbus narrowbody fleets and associated pilot training infrastructure.

The Airbus A320 family devices form part of HAVELSAN’s STARLINE full flight simulator portfolio, supported by the company’s engineering, maintenance and after-sales capabilities. HAVELSAN is placing particular emphasis on developing long-term cooperation with airlines and training organizations extending beyond the initial delivery of training devices, including lifecycle support, maintenance, upgrades and flexible financing solutions.

The growth of HAVELSAN’s Airbus A320 family orderbook comes as the manufacturer prepares to substantially increase its simulator production capacity.

In March 2026, HAVELSAN broke ground on a new 17,000-square-meter Simulator Production and Integration Facility in Ankara. Scheduled to enter service in 2027, the facility will enable the company to produce more than 30 simulators annually and support the simultaneous development and integration of up to 16 devices.

Combined with HAVELSAN’s existing Ankara infrastructure, the company will have capacity for as many as 40 commercial and military simulators at different stages of development, production and integration.

HAVELSAN has deployed over hundreds of flight simulators globally and is placing particular emphasis on providing industry leading after-sales support and discussing with customers long-term cooperation projects.
