Türkiye - flight simulator manufacturer HAVELSAN is seeing growing international interest in its Boeing 737 MAX flight simulator offering, with its orderbook now standing at five devices.

The milestone follows Turkish Airlines’ recent order for a further two HAVELSAN Boeing 737 MAX full flight simulators. Once the latest devices are delivered, Turkish Airlines will operate five HAVELSAN-manufactured Boeing 737 MAX full flight simulators.

HAVELSAN’s Boeing 737 MAX simulator program has gained increasing exposure among international airlines and training organizations. Eight airlines and pilot training centers have conducted evaluation fly-outs on HAVELSAN’s Boeing 737 MAX full flight simulator, providing Boeing operators with the opportunity to assess the device's handling characteristics, fidelity and training capabilities.

The manufacturer showcasing its growing Boeing 737 MAX training footprint at APATS 2026 as operators across Asia-Pacific continue to add the aircraft type.

All HAVELSAN-manufactured full flight simulators currently in operation have achieved European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) qualification, providing an established qualification track record for airlines and training organizations evaluating HAVELSAN equipment.

The additional devices will form part of HAVELSAN’s STARLINE full flight simulator portfolio and will be supported through the manufacturer’s engineering, maintenance and after-sales capabilities.

The growing Boeing 737 MAX orderbook comes as HAVELSAN prepares to substantially expand its simulator manufacturing capacity. In March 2026, the company broke ground on a new 17,000-square-meter Simulator Production and Integration Facility in Ankara. Scheduled to enter service in 2027, the facility will enable HAVELSAN to produce more than 30 simulators annually and support the simultaneous development and integration of up to 16 devices. Combined with the company’s existing Ankara infrastructure, HAVELSAN will have capacity for up to 40 commercial and military simulators at different stages of development, production and integration.

HAVELSAN has deployed over hundreds of flight simulators globally and is placing particular emphasis on providing industry leading after-sales support and discussing with customers long-term cooperation projects.
