India & Thailand – Indian pilot training facilitator HM Aviation has commenced another Airbus A320 Type Rating cohort at partner Acron Aviation’s Bangkok Training Center, with training starting on September 4, 2026.
- Acron Aviation offers a dedicated DGCA Airbus A320 Type Rating course in Bangkok for Indian CPL and ATPL holders. Published prerequisites include:
- DGCA CPL or ATPL.
- Valid Instrument Rating.
- Valid medical certificate.
- Minimum ICAO English Level 4.
- 25 hours of multi-engine flight time, of which up to 10 hours may be completed in a simulator.
- Acron’s DGCA package also includes accommodation, daily transport between the hotel and training center, Bangkok airport transfers and documentation support for Indian licence endorsement.
- The Bangkok Training Center currently operates eight full-flight simulators:
- 2 ATR 72-600 FFS.
- 2 ATR 72-500 FFS.
- 1 Airbus A320-200 ceo/neo FFS.
- 2 Airbus A320-200 ceo FFS.
- 1 Airbus A330-200E FFS.
The facility also has fixed-base simulators and flat-panel training equipment.
- HM Aviation’s wider Professional Pilot Program progresses candidates through DGCA ground theory, overseas CPL/multi-engine/instrument training, Indian licence conversion and a final type-rating and airline-preparation phase. The organisation currently facilitates Airbus A320, Boeing 737 and ATR 72-600 type-rating pathways through partner training organisations
